IMS West Project Manager AVP (Finance)



Who we are looking for

The IMS West development team is searching for a Project Manager with some business analyst skills. You will drive and support the delivery of large and complex initiatives via agile and Kanban methodology and will be expected to share your experienced perspective. Additionally you will extract, analyze, and present results and findings to internal and external stakeholder groups in support of creating fully vetted User stories and requirements. You will ask the right questions to ensure understanding of underlying needs behind data asks, forming a narrative out of data, and visualizing it in a way that makes sense, is actionable, and aligns business processes. Your scope will include a range of projects - inclusive of business, process, data, technology and organizational change efforts. You will ensure outcomes for the projects are clear, executive support exists for our initiatives, effective prioritization is being applied, work is sequenced properly, and key accountabilities are understood and adopted. You will partner with business leaders, Data & Technology partners, and Enterprise Change Office colleagues to deliver results.

What you will be responsible for

The Project Manager / Business Analyst will:

  • Serve as the domain expert on Agile implementation / SDLC with Jira as the primary tool across our development team.
  • Provide consultation on complex testing strategies for the organization with a specific bias to applying technology as a lever.
  • Support any QA operating model change management efforts by communicating the benefits of initiatives and guiding teams through implementation.
  • Work with various leadership to define and deliver success metrics for the transformation strategy and individual initiatives, regularly reporting on outputs and optimizing performance.

  • Thrive on challenges and enjoy partnering with others to achieve meaningful results

  • Experienced in partnering cross-functionally to solve complex problems and have the confidence and courage to influence others and add value with a focus on understanding and managing the impact of change
  • Previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, technology systems, vendor management), and have the ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work
  • Skilled communicator and can facilitate ambiguous and challenging discussions. Place a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging. Fine-tuned your communication style to connect with a variety of stakeholders including executive-level stakeholders

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or experience and five or more years of project management experience
  • Project Management certification (eg PMP)
  • Expertise in Agile, DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Jira, Confluence and Git.
  • Expertise in Project Management platforms, tools, and frameworks, such as Jira and X-Ray
  • Experienced in MS Excel, Visio and SQL query generation. Other experience a large plus: PowerBI
  • Minimum of five years of experience working in a development organization, focused on various SDLC
  • Understanding of software development life cycle, quality assurance standards, and testing methodologies
  • Should have excellent presentation & communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure client facing setting

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
