JOB SUMMARY

Relay Resources is seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our growing Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for developing and leading change management strategies and plans to support high-impact initiatives across shared services functions such as HR, Finance, Operations, Diversity & Inclusion, and Facilities.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in change management practices, experience supporting projects in matrixed environments, and a strong track record in stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption planning. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Change Management Strategy & Execution 70%

Define and implement change management strategies aligned with project and organizational goals. Lead the development of change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and adoption plans. Facilitate workshops and sessions to support process change, employee readiness, and behavior shifts. Collaborate with project managers, functional leaders, and HR to integrate change planning into projects. Identify resistance and build mitigation strategies to ensure adoption and sustainability. Support the execution of communication, engagement, and training efforts tied to initiatives. Monitor and measure success of change efforts and adjust strategies as needed.

2. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement 10%

Act as a liaison between project teams, impacted teams, and the EPMO. Ensure consistent, timely, and audience-appropriate communication throughout the change lifecycle. Support the development of toolkits, Surveys ,FAQs, email campaigns, and leadership talking points.

3. Training & Capability Building 10%

Design and deliver change management-related training sessions to employees and managers. Support the development and scaling of internal change management tools and templates. Build organizational awareness and understanding of effective change management practices.

4. Documentation & Reporting 10%

Maintain clear and complete documentation of change management strategies, plans, and status reports. Track adoption and feedback metrics; report progress to EPMO and executive sponsors. Contribute to organizational lessons learned and improvement initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors degree in organizational development, human resources, business, communications, or a related field.

Experience: 7+ years of proven experience in change management roles, preferably in shared services, HR, operations, or similar cross-functional environments.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR).

Skilled facilitator with experience leading change planning and engagement workshops. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success building trust and influencing across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong planning and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach. Experience using Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Forms, and Teams); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana) preferred. Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and drive outcomes in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Change management certification (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP, or equivalent).

Additional credentials in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) a plus.

Experience supporting change within nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.

SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITY

Performs duties with moderate supervision and high autonomy. Work is reviewed for alignment with project goals and organizational priorities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

No direct reports, though this role will coach, mentor or influence peers and project teams as part of change enablement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Office atmosphere (remote or hybrid).

Frequent use of computer and standard office equipment.
