SET THE COURSE

To build relationships with management to understand hiring needs, and to capitalize on both existing and new opportunities to source and hire top talent. Responsible for full life cycle recruitment of wholesale, retail and restaurant divisions of Tommy Bahama. By attracting and placing new talent, the Recruiter will contribute to the continued success of Tommy Bahama and meet the changing needs of the organization.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

  • Participate in recruitment activity for all TB divisions as directed. Assist in developing strategic and creative sourcing/hiring strategies. Responsible for providing recruiting assistance for 165 + retail/restaurant locations and corporate location.
  • Owns full life cycle recruitment for divisions or positions of responsibility. Is the staffing expert and directs necessary processes, provides feedback and constant communication to ensure best hires.
  • Must also balance the candidate experience with business needs, and ensure final candidates are prepared throughout the process to accept an offer. Review all new applicants and disposition each candidate.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Talent requests for job descriptions and organizational chart updates. Maintain and update job descriptions.
  • Partner with the Hiring Managers to identify job hiring requirements, process and top talent.
  • Maintain knowledge of current employment/recruiting market, trends, and competitors.
  • Uses Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Responsible for completing reference checks, education confirmation, and/or background checks.
  • Attend job fairs for new store openings.
  • Must maintain knowledge of industry HR practices and legal employment considerations, and have the ability to apply that knowledge to the Recruitment Team as appropriate.
  • Partner with Learning and Development for training with Store Managers on recruitment practices and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain contacts in related companies, schools, agencies, etc.
  • Utilize existing and new networks to contact passive candidates and build pipeline for current and future positions.
  • Participate in creating and monitoring activities that impact employment brand awareness (employment advertising, collateral material, website and posting content, events, etc.).
  • Works with Creative on developing current recruitment signage with up-to-date photos..
  • Responsible for managing the relocation process, relocating on average 20 relocations per year. Coordinates travel, payments and check requests, temporary housing, and update Relocation spreadsheet as necessary.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of corporate recruitment experience.
  • PHR certification preferred.
  • Previous interviewing experience and knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to use a variety of software, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint.
  • Knowledge and experience with an applicant tracking system and process required. Ideally, Workday experience.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse groups of people, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of company's goals, culture, values and image helpful.
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Able to work in a fast paced rapidly changing environment.
  • Must maintain a high level of professionalism.

Range: $78,000 to $101,756.88 per hour
