Commercial Estimator (Finance)

Duties & responsibilities:

Directly responsible for the sales functions of Timberline Landscaping, Inc. including customer interaction, contract bidding, and production activities
Duties include meeting with customers to assess needs & wants, preparing plans for approval, and submitting bid documents
Coordinates scheduling of jobs and ordering/procuring materials so that jobs can proceed in a timely fashion
Maintain corporate documentation including but not limited to job file notebooks, vehicle forms, and safety forms
Must be knowledgeable of safety rules & standards
Responsible for monitoring safety compliance of crews in production and reporting concerns to the foremen and the corporate safety chairperson
Implements corporate goals & objectives as assigned by the President
Performs other functions as assigned by the President

Physical Demand & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, listen, talk and drive. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls such as calculators, file cabinets, telephone, or keyboard
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can extend to extreme if monitoring work in the field
