Child Well-Being Lead Specialist (PRN) (Personal Services)

The Child Well-Being Lead Specialist (PRN) supervises and supports the child well-being specialists when providing direct interventions and recommendations for operational and environmental adjustments. Ensures appropriate chain of communication for all stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • Schedule and conduct regular staff meetings, provide ongoing staff training, and performance reviews
  • Support training development within the program
  • Coordinate special cases that are escalated by the Child Well-Being Specialist, including facilitation of connections across local, state, and federal resources
  • Generate and review reports and documentation
  • Maintain and update any unexpected absences and staffing needs that may include the development and execution of a surge deployment plan
  • Liaison with regional leads, specialists, and facility partners
  • Manage all program matters to provide support based on professional expertise and drive process improvement
  • Provide guidance to support continuity in care, eliminate duplication of effort, and synchronize activities across the entire child well-being program
  • Respond to information requests by providing standardized process and result metrics reports to support the monitoring and evaluation of program success
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to support multiple sites with ongoing communication and review of assessment data
  • Ability to communicate with site and government staff effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment within a developing new program
  • Good research skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

  • Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Education and Requirements:

  • Master's degree in behavioral health or related field
  • Hold a full, current, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Doctor level prepared psychologist (LP), or equivalent
  • Five plus years post licensure experience in child development, culturally aware and trauma-centered care, performing clinical evaluations in direct engagement with children and their families
  • Two plus years of management experience leading and supervising staff, with a preferred experience supervising master-level mental health professionals
  • Prior experience in cultural humility, child development, trauma-informed care, and psychological distress training and development preferred
  • Must be able to stand, twist, turn, bend, climb, lift, kneel, or walk on gravel and uneven terrain for an extended time; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Occasional lifting up to 55 lbs may occur

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident to comply with federal regulations

  • Must have resided full-time within the Continental US for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years

  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment

Pay: $56.00 hourly 
Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
