Paving Superintendent - Lead with Purpose

Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Paving Superintendent to oversee and coordinate asphalt paving operations, including crew leadership, subcontractor management, and project execution across private and commercial developments (e.g., parking lots, driveways, and site work). This management role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentoring others, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours-so your evenings and weekends are yours.

✅ What You'll Do

  • Lead and empower multiple paving crews with a focus on safety and productivity.
  • Ensure projects meet high standards-on time, within scope, and aligned with contractual goals.
  • Train Asphalt Foremen and new crew members to grow team expertise.
  • Evaluate job sites for progress, equipment efficiency, and compliance.
  • Calculate logistics (e.g., number of trucks needed, haul timing).
  • Monitor and report job costs, materials usage, and crew performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement with solutions that optimize production, equipment, and quality.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of relevant asphalt and paving experience (or equivalent training).
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to supervise crews and maintain accurate records.
  • Skilled in operating equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in database software and keyboard proficiency.
