BASIC JOB FUNCTION:

The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and is a critical part of the team ensuring insightful analysis, recommendations, and accurate financial reporting to support continued business growth. This position is not eligible for relocation, it is hybrid (not remote). Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively provide analytical support across a variety of functions to create visibility and insight across the business
  • Provide month-end close, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting support for the company's retail businesses
  • Provide month-end close support and execute various accounting responsibilities across a multi-state portfolio
  • Assist in compilation of monthly financial statements and facilitate monthly KPI updates
  • Partner with and influence operations leaders across the country to identify margin improvement opportunities and provide financial guidance
  • Advise and influence business development partners to formulate strategies driving margin enhancement and growth
  • Support additional ad-hoc projects as required

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant, finance, or business analyst.
  • Possess strong attention to detail, planning and thinking skills, and business acumen.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Proven change management leadership capability, ability to manage ambiguity, strong initiative, and strong analytical skills.

EDUCATION          

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seated for long periods of time and use hands and arms for data entry, visual acuity is needed to read detailed reports and spreadsheets
