Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc. seeks a Senior R&D Engineering and Project Manager in Foxboro, MA.

Job Description: Analyze firmware features of the smart field devices to develop test strategies, then author test plans and test design specifications (TDS) documents. Design and execute communication-specific testing for HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer), FF (Foundation Fieldbus) or Modbus Field Devices, and design test strategy for executing tests on field device DTM software. Guide design teams to create DTM configuration software. Provide expertise of process automation wireless device setup, V&V with control system integration to DCS, and asset management software (AMS). Eligible for remote work up to 3 dys/wk. Position supervises 4 direct report employees in the positions of Senior and Principal Test Engineer.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, or related field and 10 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in process instrumentation design and testing, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Design and execution of communication specific testing for HART, FF and Modbus Field Devices; Design of test strategy for executing tests on Field Device DTM software; Leading and guiding design teams to create DTM configuration software; Process Automation wireless device setup; V&V with control system integration to DCS; and Asset management software (AMS).
