Instructional Assistant Professor - Finance (Finance)

Description:

The C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for one promotion-eligible Instructional Assistant Professor position (non-tenure-track) in the department of Finance, starting in the fall of 2026. Responsibilities will include teaching finance courses at the undergraduate and master's levels.

Candidates must be committed to teaching excellence, curriculum development, engagement with stakeholders and the business community, and professional development. Service to the department, college and university will be expected, which may consist of research publications in refereed finance and economics journals and/or leadership in curriculum and program development.

Applicants with a doctoral degree in Finance or Economics and with experience in teaching at a Tier-1 research university (master's and undergraduate levels) are preferred.
