Lecturer - Lighting Design (Finance)
The successful candidate will have a 4/3 teaching load that will include instruction of undergraduate students in the BFA Production/Design area with a focus in lighting design. Responsibilities will also include mentoring undergraduate students who take on lighting design assignments for SOTD productions as well as recruiting for the BFA program. The position also serves as Head of the MFA track in lighting design. Responsibilities within the MFA Theatre Design and Technology program include student mentoring and recruiting plus other duties as assigned. Attendance at all SOTD faculty meetings and Production Design area meetings is also required.
Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate a strong record of professional experience in lighting design. Teaching and mentoring experience is a plus. An MFA or equivalent professional experience is required.
