About the Role

Essity Health and Medical is looking for an experienced Demand Planner. This position is responsible for owning and facilitating local company sales forecast and demand management for his/her respective customers/customer-segments.

We do this through capable and motivated people working effectively together across the organization, the right technology solutions, sourcing, manufacturing and planning excellence.

The ideal candidate should/could live in Charlotte, NC.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze historical demand and filter out outliers, identify the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm.
  • Develop the base demand plan using the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm and make adjustments where necessary.
  • Generate the new product forecast using the historical substitution and like modelling / scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management.
  • Understand the impact of the customer buying pattern.
  • Effectively communicate with and engage the Customer on operational issues.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred;
  • Three or more years of Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or Operations planning experience;
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented with excellent organizational skills;
  • Experience in medical industry preferred but not required;
  • ERP System knowledge, SAP and SAP/APO Experience preferred
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and business analytics/reporting tools;
  • Fluent in the English language.

Expected Compensation:
