Infinity QA Specialist I (Finance)
TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Infinity QA Specialist I to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team in Houston, Texas.
Job Summary: The Infinity QA Specialist I position is an entry-level role and will contribute to multiple aspects of the Houston Staging test group. The Infinity QA Specialist I will apply their technical skills to support the test team, with a focus on verification of system configuration, networking, Infinity system peripherals, registry settings, etc. This position will involve ensuring the system is configured and deployed properly with the correct code versions and parameters to meet specific customer requirements.
Because of the complex nature of the integrated Infinity system, as well as the ongoing process improvement goals set by the Infinity Product Management core team, there is no specific collection of technical skills that we are looking for. Instead, we seek to match a technically skilled candidate with the overall goals and collaborative team approach already in place in the QA team. The successful candidate will bring technical skills that can be applied to one or more of the QA challenges immediately, while also striving to continuously learn more about the past, current, and future capabilities of the integrated Infinity system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Contribute to the 2025 QA goals including:
- Documentation of current end-to-end processes, both within the QA team as well as the broader Infinity team
- Implementation of task tracking and documentation
- Software & code testing support (unit testing)
- Provide customer support for internal and external clients and stakeholders
- Respond to changing priorities based on guidance from the Staging QA Manager and/or Director of Quality
- Develop and improve process documentation
- Occasional overtime as needed to support hard customer deadlines
- Less than 10% travel
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates degree (A.A.) in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Desired Skills & Experience:
The successful Infinity QA Specialist I candidate will have training or experience in several of the test and evaluation skills categories, as well as the technical skills category. We are not looking for someone who has all of these, but these are examples of the kinds of skills that will be valuable to contribute to the Infinity QA integrated test group.
