Senior Enterprise Program Manager (Information Technology)

Why We Need You:

PEMCO has a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a Senior Enterprise Program Manager to join our community. In this role, you will be The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of high-impact, cross-functional programs that align with PEMCO's long-term strategic imperatives. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder collaboration to drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, innovation, and growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work closely with enterprise leaders and their teams to ensure execution of several projects aligned with and in support of PEMCO's strategic imperatives and critical business priorities, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functionally diverse leaders, teams, and external partners to define program objectives and outcomes, secure buy-in, and drive accountability.
  • Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, decompose high–level information into details, and assimilate low-level data to create actionable insights.
  • Lead or partner in leading change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, tools, or systems across the organization.
  • Review project portfolios to ensure they abide by strategic decisions and PEMCO's mission.
  • Demonstrate robust project management skills, managing multiple core projects effectively across multiple workstreams. 
  • Evaluate outcomes to identify opportunities for process optimization and future strategic initiatives.
  • Assess how specific programs are performing and how they can be improved.
  • Establish clear goals, KPIS and metrics to monitor program progress, reporting outcomes and insights to senior leadership through dashboards and presentations.
  • Manage project costs and schedule(s), as appropriate, tracking progress against project milestones and holding others accountable for assigned tasks.
  • Balance and coordinate resource needs across multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery and maximum utilization of all resources.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address them in collaboration with project managers.
  • Lead vendor selection process through RFPs and other methods, manage vendors effectively through vendor selection, SOW negotiation, and ensure vendors successfully meet their project deliverables.
  • In partnership with vendor management program manager, manage contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure all requirements are fulfilled.

What You'll Bring:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience (Business Management or related field) is required. Masters or MBA degree is preferred. 
  • 6 years of experience in program management or business-related roles with increasing levels of responsibility, with at least 6 years leading or managing complex projects is required, and minimum 2 years' experience in a strategic or cross-functional role.
  • PMP, or PgMP, or similar certification is preferred.
  • MS Office: Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is required (keep?)
  • Job specific: experience with project management methodologies (agile, waterfall, lean) and tools (Jira, MS Project)
  • Job specific: able to navigate ambiguity and adept at pre-emptively identifying potential challenges, proposing mitigation strategies, and implementing them.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve complex unstructured problems quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively.
  • Analytical and data-driven: Analyzing data to identify trends and make informed decisions.; a structured thinker who can put complex ideas into clear frameworks; uses data to conduct root cause analysis and develops high quality, consumable, and consistent metrics that drive strategic objectives and priorities.

Compensation:

The pay range for this role is shown below. Compensation decisions are determined based on an individual's qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

  • Greater Seattle area target pay range: $165,369-$202,117.  The full pay range is $137,807-$229,679.
  • Outside greater Seattle area target pay range: $145,941-$178,373.  The full pay range is $121,617-$202,696.

Greater Seattle Area is defined as working within approximately 100 miles of Seattle.

Outside Greater Seattle is defined as working approximately 100 miles or more from Seattle.

Benefits:

Regular part-time PEMCO employees working at least 24 hours per week and regular full-time PEMCO employees are eligible to elect coverage under medical, dental, and vision plans for themselves and their eligible family members with generous employer premium cost shares. In addition, as a benefits-eligible employee, you are:

  • covered by employer-paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance policies as well as long- and short-term disability benefit coverages.
  • eligible to participate in PEMCO's 401(k) plan which includes a generous employer match (2 for 1 on the first 6% employee pre-tax and/or Roth deferral, up to federal maximums). 

PEMCO provides the following paid leave programs for benefits-eligible employees in their first year of PEMCO employment:

  • Vacation accrues at a rate of 10 days for new hires, and increases based on a schedule to a maximum annual accrual of 25 days based on tenure.
  • Granted four (4) personal days immediately upon hire.
  • Paid holidays for the eight (8) holidays observed by PEMCO throughout the calendar year.
  • Granted up to ten (10) days of sick leave immediately upon hire (pro-rated based on hire date and full-time/part-time status), which is approximately 28 hours more per year than the Washington state-required accrual.
  • In addition, PEMCO provides paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, and employee volunteering in the community.

  • Discretionary bonuses
