Branch Manager II - Edina (Project Management)

What You'll Do:

An energetic and inspirational leader that effectively communicates a big picture perspective that complements our organizational objective and drives branch specific growth and goal achievement. Responsible for the overall operational integrity and growth of one or more office locations. A leader that motivates and empowers team members and colleagues to attain a high level of performance and drives operational efficiency that creates a WOW member experience with every interaction; tailored to the branch and the community in which it supports. Oversees all functions of the branch operations; Teller, Member Account Representative (MAR), and other Branch Leaders within office(s). Responsible for providing a superior level of Member service through ongoing coaching, guiding and development of team members and other branch leaders. Fosters an environment of inclusion, collaboration and accountability that in turn creates and consistently maintains a highly engaged team. Responsible for the branch building, maintenance and security. Volunteer and promote Royal Credit Union in the community to build relationships and business development. Managing all office channels; provide leadership in managing team members, mentoring other Branch Leaders, SLA agreements, Corporate and/or Departmental projects and initiatives and ongoing change while leading and supporting Net Promoter Score (NPS) initiatives throughout the office.


Our Commitment To You:

  • Compensation: $72,966.40 - $83,907.20 (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

What's Needed For This Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of experience in financial services, including two years with new accounts, loans, or loan processing
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Three years of leadership experience
  • Must be bondable and obtain Notary certification upon hire

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust, collaboration, and transparency across all levels
  • Technological proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Royal's digital platforms, with a willingness to learn new tools
  • Strategic and innovative mindset with the ability to assess risk, drive change, and improve operational efficiency
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

We'd Love To See:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Royal experience
  • FiCEP Certification (CUNA Financial Counseling Certification Program) or other approved financial counseling certification

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time, working approximately 40 hours per week. Hours and shifts vary between 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday with additional hours, as needed.

Training:

  • Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.
    • Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal's culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.
