Personal Activity Attendant (part-time) (Healthcare)

Are you an energetic and compassionate individual who enjoys working with seniors? We are seeking an experienced, friendly, creative, and dependable Activity Attendant to join our team and help enhance the daily lives of our residents through meaningful engagement and fun, enriching activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, organizing, and leading recreational programs and group activities
- Encourage resident participation and provide support during programs
- Escort residents to and from activity areas as needed
- Help with event setup and cleanup
- Maintain supplies and ensure activity spaces are tidy and welcoming
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Monitor residents' safety and well-being during activities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with seniors or in a recreational setting is preferred
- Positive, patient, and outgoing personality
- Ability to motivate and engage individuals with varying levels of physical and cognitive ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to lift light materials and assist residents with mobility when needed
