Position Purpose:
Conduct specialized technical work with emphasis in a specific area such as pilot machine operation with or without detailed direction.
Customers and Customer Expectations:
Project Leaders, Engineering, Research, Operations, and Maintenance.
Scope:
Work as member of a Pilot Facility team. Perform moderately complex tasks under the direction of an experienced operator or customer. Alternately may be responsible for operation of pilot equipment. Provide protection to technologies and products through appropriate use of patents and trade secrets.
Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:
Typically required, at a minimum, a high school education or equivalent, plus 4plus years relevant experience or equivalent relevant education and/or experience. Mechanical aptitude and ability to trouble-shoot problems is highly desirable for lead members of operating crews.
Principal Accountabilities:
Administer and direct an effective safety program that allows individuals to carry out their job responsibilities in a safe manner, be pro-active to ensure that equipment and processes meet government safety codes, policies, and guidelines, as well as Kimberly-Clark Corporations loss control program (“SMART”). Provide for the safety and well-being of customers, operators, maintenance and other personnel.
Effectively problem solve, take corrective action and contribute evaluations, conclusions and recommendations in regard to experiments, projects, and personnel.
Produce entire segments of projects, experiments, trials, etc.
Plan and perform specialized experimental programs or operate specialized equipment/machinery.
Conduct all communications and transactions with the utmost integrity and honesty so as to build an unimpeachable business reputation.
Train and supervise the work of less experienced personnel.
Maintain team focus to achieve business results and provide assistance to fellow team members when not actively participating in a trial.
Communicate fully with superiors and others who have a need to know. Be informative without being obtrusive or vexatious. Communicate in a manner that is timely, yet prompt; candid yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive.
Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.

Salary Range: 57,640 – 68,120 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position is eligible for overtime pay and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
