Accounting Analyst I (Finance)

We are seeking a knowledgeable Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will maintain the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and assist with budgeting/forecasting. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of GAAP accounting. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for month-end close process
  • Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and supporting documents
  • Reconciliation of bank statements and other balance sheet accounts
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with annual budget process
  • Monitor fixed assets and prepaid expenses
  • Ad-hoc reports and projects, as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze budget to actual variances
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience including account reconciliations, journal entries, and basic understanding of internal controls
