Vehicle Low Voltage Power Simulation Engineer (Engineering)



Clarios is seeking a seasoned simulation engineer with expertise in software-defined vehicle E/E architecture modelling. This position leverages simulation tools to assess innovative design concepts, aiming to provide insights into the future development of vehicle low voltage power net architecture and its influence on battery system requirements over the medium to long term.
 

How you will do it:
• Model and simulate powernet architectures integrated with various battery systems.
• Utilize MBSE methodologies to enhance vehicle system analysis.
• Simulate connectivity and functionality of vehicle electronic systems.
• Analyze simulation results to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the simulation SoW, interpret simulation data and derive actionable insights.
• Validate models to ensure they meet established performance targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
 

What we look for:

Required:
• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive
Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in modeling and simulating vehicle E/E architecture.
• Proficiency in MBSE and familiarity with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and SysML.
• Experience with E/E architecture tools, such as PREEvision,
• Strong understanding of low voltage networks and battery systems.

Preferred:
• Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with electric and hybrid vehicle technologies.
• Experience in product launches or major projects.
