Global Services Offer Leader - Building Management Systems (Finance)



Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of "Global Services Offer Leader - Building Management Systems' to lead the services business transformation for EcoStruxure Building portfolio. This role can be based in United States, United Kingdom, or Sweden.

The Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption, and run building operations more efficiently.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accelerating Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth, driving the digitization of service delivery, accelerate modernization of legacy install base, and incubating innovative new services to keep the portfolio competitive and relevant in a fast-changing market. As Leader, you will lead & collaborate with a global team, craft and implement a multi-year growth strategy, and cultivate a culture of innovation and operational excellence. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, influencing, and analytical abilities, as well as strong technical and business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a motivational leadership style. Effective collaboration and partnership across Schneider Electric's global organization and with cross-functional teams will be critical for success.

Primary Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Strategy

  • Own and drive the global BMS services portfolio, with full accountability for ARR growth, digitization, and modernization service offerings.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive multi-year growth strategy, aligned with global business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to ensure the portfolio remains differentiated and value-driven.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, rituals, and processes to ensure effective decision-making, risk management, and alignment across regions and functions.
  • Collaborate with strategy teams to identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities, including adjacent markets and emerging technologies.

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of global offer managers, services delivery design, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional development to maximize team engagement and performance.
  • Build and nurture a strong community of practice among offer managers, facilitating knowledge sharing, best practice adoption, and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Partner closely with commercial, country, and adjacent offer teams to ensure seamless go-to-market execution, portfolio integration, and customer-centric solutions.

Performance Management & Initiatives

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the services portfolio, ensuring targets for ARR, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency are met or exceeded.
  • Work with finance to analyze portfolio performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize existing service offerings, streamline processes, and enhance delivery models for scalability and profitability.
  • Ensure robust governance of portfolio management, including regular business reviews, risk assessments, and compliance with global standards.

Marketing & Thought Leadership

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute impactful campaigns that drive awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement for BMS services.
  • Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson for the services portfolio, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions, sales enablement materials, and customer success stories to support business development and market expansion.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather insights, validate offerings, and co-create innovative solutions.

Innovation & Preparing Future

  • Conceive, design, and launch new service offerings that address evolving customer needs, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements.
  • Partner with strategy and R&D teams to scout, incubate, and scale innovative service concepts, leveraging digital technologies and data-driven insights.
  • Champion a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation, agile development, and rapid prototyping of new ideas.
  • Anticipate future trends and disruptions in the BMS industry, ensuring the services portfolio remains at the forefront of market evolution and customer expectations.

Desired skills and competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in services offer management, in Building Management Systems or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading global teams and managing complex, high-value service portfolios.
  • Strong strategic and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving ARR growth and digital transformation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in go-to-market strategy, marketing campaigns, and financial performance optimization.
  • Proven leadership in innovation, change management, and organizational development.
