Tower Technician III - Top Hand SoCal (Maintenance)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Climbing and working on communication towers to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wireless systemsAssembling/erecting various tower types, including self-support, monopoles, guyed towers, etc.Read construction documents, clearly explain and delegate tasks to crews inorder to perform installations per all customer requirementsInstalling antennas, coax, fiber optic cables, DC power, AC power, etc., at elevated heights of over 100 feetWorking closely with, helping manage, and mentor technicians, and staying aligned with our OJT training programReview assigned crews and adhere to project schedulesAdhering to all company and industry (i.e., OSHA, NATE) standards/regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent2 years of tower industry experience, with at least 6-12 months as a Tower Tech 3/Lead TechnicianBe able to demonstrate skills, knowledge, and your level of expertise in the tower industryMust have reliable transportation; a valid drivers license may be required for certain assignments involving travel or use of company vehiclesAbility to travel and work outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidaysWorking knowledge of hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipmentAbility to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb loadOSHA 30, RF Safety, First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Local, out-of-the-area, and extended travel is required (up to 95%).
