Research Technician (Finance)



The major goals of the laboratory are to understand the development of functions of the lymphatic vasculature. The research programs of the lab are funded by the National Institutes of Health. We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, hardworking, detail-oriented, and collaborative applicant to work in a Lymphatic Biology lab as a Research Technician.

The research technician will be responsible for performing mouse genotyping, mouse handling and tattooing, PCR, General lab duty (eg. Solution preparation, refilling, and supply refilling), and assisting other researchers with routine lab work.

The laboratory analyses at this level may involve sophisticated techniques that are generally learned on the job. This position may also analyze data and produce graphs and charts for publication.Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of laboratory or research experience. College coursework in a natural or physical science may be substitutable for the required experience on a year basis.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in PCR, mouse genotyping, and handling is desirable. Good communication skills and good with teamwork.
