Process Operator (Manufacturing)

SUMMARY: The Processing Operator will be responsible for the blending and pre-batch operations for manufactured Dixie Brands, Wana Brands, and Curio Wellness products. This position reports to the Manufacturing Production Manager.

This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepare products according to work standards and specifications to meet product quality and productivity standards in a GMP environment
Set up and maintain clean and organized workstations, materials and equipment, and tools according to standard work layout and placement
Adhere to and accurately complete/review production-related documents to meet the production schedule and customer service targets
Ability to analyze processes to determine the next steps to be taken and to ensure all previous process steps are complete
Communicate and document processes in a multi-task operation
Perform 5S assignments to maintain a safe and clean workplace
Restock inventory of production materials necessary to achieve daily production goals
Count inventory as assigned to maintain inventory accuracy of raw materials, Work in Process, and Finished goods
safely use equipment and instruments according to standard operating procedures
Perform equipment preventative maintenance tasks as assigned and outlined in SOPs
Perform scale verification checks according to methods and frequency outlined in product specifications and SOPs.
End of shift cleanup: Including, but not limited to, mopping floors, wiping tables, cleaning utensils and other dishes and taking out trash.
Maintaining accurate and reliable record keeping including hour by hour boards, batch records, inventory counting sheets, 5S sheets, data charts and all other pertinent information as assigned
Work on special projects as assigned. Contribute to cross-functional brainstorming
Escalate any problems to the Group Leader and/or the Production Manager.
Maintain a positive and supportive work culture, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
Follow GMP standards and personal hygiene
Able to work overtime as required
Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure
