Sr Procurement Project Spec (Finance)



As a Sr. Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing support to the HBS US West region in managing procurement projects and services for. You will play a critical part in ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment across the procurement function in these regions. You will report directly to our Regional Sourcing Manager, and you will work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in project management, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations. Through your leadership, you will ensure that procurement projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee procurement projects in the HBS US West region from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and timeline.

• Participate in implementing strategic sourcing practices, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to drive value and innovation.

• Assist in assessing and mitigating procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and quality control, to ensure the continuity and quality of supply.

• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives

• Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Growth, Productivity and Working capital Plan with supporting strategies

• Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and align procurement strategies accordingly

• Participate in vendor evaluation and performance measurement programs to track and improve supplier performance, quality, and delivery.

• Support the management of the procurement budget, allocate resources efficiently, and seek cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.

• Collaborate with suppliers and other stakeholders to maintain relationships that foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Ensure that procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards, including ethical and sustainability practices.

• Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of quality control standards in procurement processes, conducting regular inspections and performance assessments.Fantastic career opportunity for an Sr Procurement Project Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. • In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
