Machine Operator (Manufacturing)
The Machine Operator plays a key role in our jewelry manufacturing process by operating and maintaining both manual and automated machinery. This position ensures consistent quality and productivity across multiple areas of production.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain various types of manual and automatic equipment used in jewelry manufacturingPerform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performanceMonitor and maintain accountability for work-in-progress (WIP) materialsCross-train in multiple departments to support shifting production needsFollow all safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first work environmentOffer feedback to improve operational efficiency and workflow
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentBasic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machineryProficient in basic mathAbility to use measuring tools accuratelyStrong multitasking skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a manufacturing or jewelry production environmentTraining or certification in machinery operation and maintenanceFamiliarity with workplace safety standards and proceduresExperience with inventory tracking or job accountability systemsEffective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
This role requires standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production materials.
