The Senior Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the financial performance and compliance of complex government IT projects. Reporting to the Finance team, this position works closely with Project Controls, Contracts, and Delivery to provide analysis, reporting, and oversight throughout the project lifecycle. It ensures compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations and drives timely, accurate forecasting and reporting.
This position is required to report onsite MWF at the Arlington, VA office.
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee detailed financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting for large-scale government IT contracts.
Perform budget variance analysis and proactively identify risks or anomalies.
Develop reports and dashboards for senior leadership and government clients.
Ensure compliance with contract terms, funding ceilings, and federal cost principles (FAR/DFARS).
Assist in preparing project setup structures and modifications within ERP systems (Unanet, Costpoint).
Provide support in contract modifications, procurement processes, and documentation reviews.
Leverage reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to enhance project transparency and decision-making.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, or financial support within a government contracting environment.
In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS, government cost principles, and EVM methodology.
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; comfort with data visualization tools.
Proven ability to work across teams, including Finance, Contracts, and Project Management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field
