Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer (Finance)



As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell Intelligrated, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge automation solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies will ensure that the products developed meet the highest standards of quality & reliability.

You will be part of our Core Product Center of Excellence & you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid 3-2 work schedule.

In this role, you will be a leader in the development of innovative electro-mechanical systems & components, ensuring they drive value to our customers while enhancing the overall performance & functionality of our products. You will be a part of a leader in the material handling industry.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.As an Advanced Mech Design Engr here at Honeywell, you will design and develop advanced mechanical systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in mechanical design and product performance. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design & development.
  • Proficient in Solid modelling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in mechanical analysis & simulation tools.
  • Experience with six sigma, product testing & validation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or participate in the development of conveyance & material handling equipment, from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements & specifications.
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, components & assemblies.
  • Support installation & aftermarket on customer deployments and issue resolution.
  • Travel up to 10%
