Part-time Public Safety Officer (Administrative)
Qualifications:
Availability, Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or GED requiredTraining in safety/security area and/or college credits in a related field preferredThree to four years of security/military/ law enforcement experience preferredThis position may require the availability to work ALL shifts as scheduled 1st, 2nd, 3rd, day, night, weekend, rotating, and swing, as well as holidays and overtime.
Human Relations Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skillsSensitivity to the needs of students Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk continually for two miles, climb four stories of stairs.
Special Requirements:
Must have valid Wisconsin motor vehicle license and be insurable under the Universitys insurance plan.Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance theUniversity mission.
