Sales Director – Western US (Education)
Supervises ErectaStep Regional Area Sales Managers (RAMs) including developing business strategies, training, goal setting, performance management, coaching, etc.
Coordinates sales plans by establishing RAM sales territories and sales goals.
Works closely with Commercial leadership, Engineering, and Operations on large projects by coordinating communications and organizing/participating in project meetings.
Analyzes competitor activities and assesses opportunities for business development.
Drives to exceed revenue targets and KPl 's as set by the organization.
Networks with distributors and other businesses across the territory and builds mutually beneficial relationships.
Determines price schedules and discount rates.
Prepares budgets and approves budget expenditures
Collaborates with Marketing team to plan and implement marketing strategies.
Provides reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and new product development.
Understands industry specific trends and landscapes.
Other duties as business needs dictate
