Security Guard, Weekend Shift (Part-Time) (Media)

Kinze is currently seeking a part-time security guard to join our team in Williamsburg, IA. This employee will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel entering and exiting the facilities. This role is a part-time weekend shift workingFriday Midnight - Noon Saturday, Saturday Midnight- Noon Sunday and may on occasion pick up additional shifts.Position Duties: Review Security Procedures Manual Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation Must have the ability to read, write and speak English Minimum 3 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems Have the ability to walk for extended periods of time Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Ability to ride a bicycle Possess and maintain a valid drivers license Have the ability to generate incident reports and conduct daily activity logs Writes reports and ensures accuracy of the necessary documentation, as needed Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed Promote safe work practices Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property Comply with company core values, policies, and legal guidelines
