Position Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer for Ceres, you will deliver customized engineering solutions for a defined customer base within the capital equipment industry. You will consult with customers to design products that fit their needs in an innovative fashion. You will then be fully immersed into the conceptual design, development, testing, and final delivery.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Designs and develops machines and machine systems to ensure new machinery products are fully operational. Researches and analyzes data from customer design proposal and specifications to determine and verify accuracy of design for desired application.
- Prioritizes workload to ensure designs are completed according to established timelines.
- Works with Production Equipment Manager and oversees equipment production to ensure designs and requirements are clear to manufacturing team. Makes necessary changes to designs for manufacturability.
- Works with drafting team to create engineering drawings for manufacturing. Ensures quality of completed engineering drawings, "red-lines" and follows through with corrections and certification for corrections, if needed.
- Determines needs of customer through consultation, verification and confirmation of designs in coordination with sales and marketing team. Identifies estimated manufacturing cost of custom products and monitors projects to achieve target budget.
