Administrative Assistant (Administrative)



Location: North Platte, Nebraska
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual for the position of Administrative Assistant. This entry-level role plays a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient office operations by supporting staff with administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and capable of managing a wide range of duties with accuracy and discretion. This position requires strong communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:· Provide general administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office.· Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.· Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.· Prepare and modify documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.· Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical).· Order and manage office supplies and inventory.· Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing documents and scheduling orientations.· Assist with internal communications and distribute company-wide announcements.· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.· Assist with planning and execution of company events and activities.· Interact professionally with visitors, clients, and vendors.· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent.· This is an entry-level position; prior administrative experience is helpful but not required.· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:· Associate's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.· Bilingual (English/Spanish).· Experience with scheduling software or office management tools.· Familiarity with HR or accounting processes.
