Human Resource Coordinator (Finance)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for specific Human Resources functions in the areas of Onboarding and to provide support for the Human Resources team. This position provides excellent customer service and ensures compliance with all external laws and regulations as well as internal guidelines and policies. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Launch and complete onboarding processes for new Team Members
  • Ensure all required documentation is obtained and verified, including, but not limited to I-9 documentation and clearances.
  • Enter employee data as needed and ensure personnel changes are accurately recorded in our HRIS system with complete documentation before processing.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events that impact benefits eligibility, using related software or web-based reporting systems; may include maintaining employee  personnel or medical files and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, polices, etc.
  • Be knowledgeable of and follow all applicable regulations, procedures and policies for Goodwill of SWPA as the employment sites, including but not limited to attendance, training requirements, and safety policies and procedures.

Status: Full-time

Location: Lawrenceville Workforce Development Center - 118 52nd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201

External Hiring Range: $18.02-$20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, normal business hours. 

Travel: Occasional travel may is required, to Goodwill sites in Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia. 

QUALIFICTIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND 4 years of experience required. OR
  • Bachelor's degree AND 2 experience required. 

Required Experience: HR Generalist experience 

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprints, and PATCH) prior to first day of employment.
