A Brief Overview

The Project Manager position is a technical project support and essential customer relationship building role that

requires a technical background in product development and a solid understanding of end-to-end manufacturing

process. It manages customer projects while providing a single point of contact for specified customer groups,

works closely with those customers, and builds and maintains new and existing internal and external customer

relationships. An ideal individual has a high level of urgency necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment, a

good balance of people skills, and a positive team-working attitude to drive and achieve desired results.

What you will do

· Manages project initiatives for a specific set of customers in the following areas: product launch, new

system implementation, cost savings initiatives, product refresh/re-launch, new product quotations,

specification change, organizational change at the customer business review process to provide a solid

interface with the customer's processes and our internal processes to ensure project success.

· Follows the course of all specification change activity to ensure implementation and appropriate cost

change is captured and implemented.

· Participates in the business review process with all participants to ensure that all desired elements of the

business review process are met. Work to standardize the business review process within specific

customer categories.

· Recognizes the required resource change due to customer changes in expectation, and or with the

information provided by the Customer Service Representative and ensures the information is provided to

Sales for a commercial response.

· Administer a broad range of documentation and tasks including scheduling and maintaining meeting

calendars, publish minutes, assign and track the completion of follow up items as needed to execute

project scope on time.

· Define project scope, develop comprehensive plans and schedules, and coordinate between internal

teams and customers to ensure successful project completion on time, within budget, and with a clear,

aligned strategy.

· Control scope and manage change control process and where possible anticipate problems that may

occur and take early preventative action.

· Maintain and monitor issue and risk logs for assigned projects, and regularly communicate key

milestones and risks to stakeholders for review and alignment.

· Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.

· Lead and motivate the project team, providing guidance, feedback, and conflict resolution when

necessary.

· Some duties may vary slightly by location.

Education Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline, Engineering field (Preferred)

Experience Qualifications · 1-3 years in a Product Development or Project Management position with customer relationship or client project/program management interface (AS400-JDE, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Monday.com) (Preferred) · 1-3 years Proven experience managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, operations, and external vendors. (Preferred) · 1-3 years Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and resolve issues pro actively to minimize project disruptions. (Preferred) · 1-3 years Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure project alignment with organizational goals. (Preferred) Skills and Abilities · Ability to interface effectively with multiple departments and maintain urgency and adherence to customer quality and time commitment expectations. (Medium proficiency) · Experience presenting project updates to customers using PowerPoint. (Medium proficiency) · Ability to make timely and informed decisions to keep the project moving forward. (Medium proficiency) · Ability to adjust to changing project demands, priorities, and challenges. (Medium proficiency) · Verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and liaise between stakeholders. (Medium proficiency) · Analytical and critical thinking skills for resolving issues or obstacles during project execution. (Medium proficiency) · Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. (Medium proficiency) · The ability to focus on intricate project details without losing sight of the overall goals. (Medium proficiency) · Skill in managing expectations, facilitating meetings, and addressing stakeholder needs. (Medium proficiency) · Ability to see the big picture and align project objectives with organizational goals.
