Machinist/Lead Engineering Technician II (Finance)



YOU MUST HAVE
  • Have practical experience working with engineering equipment
  • Be able to find effective solutions based on root causes; and apply six sigma procedures
  • Sound technical judgment and opinions
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions

WE VALUE
  • Extensive experience Machining
  • CNC Machining, Mill, Lathe
  • Experience with Mazak CNC
  • Extensive' experience utilizing: CNC Lathe and manual machines
  • Additional background in Mill / Wire EDM / Waterjet / Welding / Tooling

  • Maintains effective communication with customers in job pre-planning
  • Interacts with team members to resolve day-to-day issues
  • Tracks progress and drives completion of machine shop work request
  • Good communications skills and can work well in a team environment
  • Places and tracks all procurement orders
  • Effectively communicates across multiple project teams, providing regular updates to internal teams (Engineering, Quality, Planning, Machine Shop) and tracking order and delivery status with external vendors and suppliers
