User Experience Designer/Fiori Engineer (Finance)



Position Overview:
CuraScript SD a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor that provides customized business solutions and access to specialty drugs to community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems; it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Express Scripts, Inc. - a Cigna Company.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated UX/UI Architect to join our design and technology team. The UX/UI Architect plays a critical role in shaping user-centered, accessible, and intuitive interfaces that align with business goals and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet user needs and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:
Lead UX and UI architecture strategy for assigned products, ensuring consistency and alignment with Cigna design standards.

Conduct and synthesize user research, persona development, and journey mapping to inform design decisions.

Create wireframes, prototypes, information architectures, and visual designs that bring complex workflows to life in a clear, intuitive way.

Partner with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and ensure design intent carries through to implementation.

Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).

Conduct usability testing, analyze results, and iterate to continuously improve user experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, presenting design solutions and articulating the rationale behind decisions.

Mentor junior designers and contribute to establishing best practices in user-centered design across teams.

Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas to Cigna's digital experience strategy.
Overall Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of professional experience in UX and UI design, with at least 2+ years in an architect or lead-level role.

Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI design across complex, data-rich platforms.

Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or InVision.

Proven experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and iterative design processes.

Strong knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility standards.

Demonstrated ability to simplify complexity, translating business and technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.

Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience is a plus.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 118,300 - 197,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
