The Job:
This leadership position oversees all of Harbor Care's Veteran Services programs, including:
· Transitional (GPD - Grants Per Diem) and permanent housing
· Supportive Services for Veterans and Families (SSVF)
· Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP)
· Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP)
Duties and Responsibilities
The Director is responsible for overseeing and providing support in the areas of operations, project management, grant administration, budgeting, and compliance of all the Harbor Care Veteran Services. Additionally, the Director will frequently attend private and community events - as a speaker and/or attendee, serve as a member on various Veterans and continuum of care committees, be a resource to the development department for fundraising events and engagements, and be a key stakeholder in Harbor Care's purpose of breaking the cycle of homelessness throughout New Hampshire
This position requires flexibility, the ability to work independently, and effective communications with key stakeholders, with a continuous feedback loop to the COO. The position is onsite (at various locations) mainly in Nashua, Manchester, and Plymouth New Hampshire and requires travel through the state of New Hampshire.
