Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Human Resources Generalist located in Monroe, OH.

Reporting to the Site HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist's role involves implementing HR programs and supporting business clients with all personnel-related issues to help foster the growth and profitability of the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Collaborates with managers on HR strategies, including talent needs assessment, diverse recruitment methodologies, and talent development, to align with business goals such as employee engagement and workforce planning.
  • Provides guidance to site management on employee policies, program matters, and data trends, while mentoring managers and assessing management capabilities for business development.
  • Leads initiatives to foster a safe environment for a diverse workforce, and serve as a consultant on current HR trends, labor laws, and change management.
  • Helps manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, annual reflections, and separations, while developing recruitment programs, coordinating job fairs, and maintaining legal compliance.
  • Addresses employee relations issues, crafts programs to enhance satisfaction and retention of critical skills, and partners with Total Rewards to administer compensation and benefit programs.
  • Engages in corporate projects and process improvements, ensuring communication and education regarding programs that benefit the organization, and participates in local sustainability initiatives.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resource related function.
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources or related experience.
  • Demonstrates operational and technical expertise, a solid understanding of Flex's functional standards, policies, and procedures, as well as the interrelations between functions and their impact on work processes.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization, from production associates to executives, while addressing customer complaints, resolving employee issues, and responding to regulatory agency inquiries.
