Role Description:

Arcadis seeks a Change Manager to join the Arcadis Design & Engineering team to help deliver complex infrastructure and transportation projects across North America. You will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of our projects from inception through to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring profitability, managing risk, and fostering strong client relationships.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Establish, deploy, and oversee Change Management and Claims administration on assigned Projects.
    • Coordinate with project managers, project directors, and technical project teams to gather facts and evidence to determine contractual rights to relief.
    • Draft correspondence requesting change orders or otherwise requesting appropriate contractual relief.
    • Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to resolve disputes and mitigate risks.
    • Be primary resource for project teams regarding contractual requirements related to changes, ensuring correspondence is timely submitted.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors regarding commercial matters. Build and maintain strong relationships, understand project needs, and ensure timely resolution of issues to enhance project success.
  • Manage subcontractor/subconsultant relationships and monitor their adherence to contractual obligations. Ensure subcontract terms are compliant with flow down requirements from the prime contract(s).
  • Manage the Document Control/Change Control process and files for all project documents including submittals, contract changes, RFIs/RFCs, correspondence, design documents, reports, meeting minutes and other records, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Maintain document control/change control database systems as required by the Project.
  • Coordinate contractual approval processes for documents, submittals, and contract changes, ensuring submission in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and present various reports, minutes, and records regarding contract document control/change control metrics.
  • Assist in preparing project closeout documentation.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in project administration, including document control and change management, within the construction or engineering industry, ideally with exposure to design-build projects.
  • Familiar and experienced with US P3 project agreement requirements.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of change management processes, claims management, and document control practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret facts and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Commercial awareness and organizational understanding.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
