Sergeant (Finance)
Paragon Systems is currently hiring for a part-time Sergeant (SGT) to support our FPS Louisiana contract in New Orleans. Any interested candidates must be individuals of unquestionable integrity who display a mature attitude and exercise good judgment. The selected individual will work 50/50 as a SGT/PSO. The Sergeant must ensure the effective, efficient, and accurate operations of the following:
- Develops work schedules and assignments.
- Enforces Government rules and regulations.
- Interacts with clients and visitors.
- Other duties as assigned
The Sergeant must also meet the requirements listed below:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have two (2) years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security guard service).
WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands):

- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or confrontational circumstances.
- Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks.
- Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Regular computer usage.
- Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
- Required to use vehicle for the performance of duties.
- Regular talking and hearing.
- Occasional walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Wage for this position is $31.30/hr + $5.35 H&W (cash) when serving as a Sergeant.

- The paid leave for full-time employees is from 80-160 hours / year based on longevity in the position, and sick leave is a minimum of 48 hours per year for a full-time employee
