Facility Project Coordinator II (Finance)

Summary of Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator II will coordinate and execute facility projects and operation projects at the Marine Creek site and other facility locations as assigned. The Project Coordinator II shall be responsible for supporting daily operations of the facility(s) including support for production teams, facility layouts and reconfigurations, buildouts and general maintenance. The Project Coordinator II shall guide and monitor 3rd party support activities from various vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Monitor and control assigned project/project as needed.
  • Apply best practices in project management to ensure projects: (1) are completed on time and within budget and scope, (2) produce a quality product, and (3) result in customer satisfaction.
  • Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and quality before submitting them to the customer.
  • Participate in the proposal process if and when needed
  • Ensure contracts, purchase orders and status reports are maintained as required.
  • Assist Program Manager in maintaining positive relationships with customers; both internal and external.
  • Adhere to applicable ITAR, TINA, FAR, Export Compliance, EMD, Safety, and Security requirements.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement and submit Document Improvement Suggestion (DIS) forms to promote positive changes within the company.
  • Ensure project and product documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Education, Experience & License or Certification

  • Bachelor's degree is required. 5-10 years functional experience may be substituted.
  • Must have strong Excel skills and in-depth knowledge of billing processes
  • Basic knowledge of project management methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of ESA business, structure, and relationship with ESL.
  • Basic knowledge of MRP systems, purchase orders, and sales order routers.
  • Basic knowledge of contracts: fixed price, cost plus, and time and materials.
  • Basic skills in the use of MS Word, Visio, Outlook, and Project.

Skills and Abilities

  • Basic skills in time management, meeting facilitation, and problem-solving.
  • Basic ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Basic ability to create and give project management review presentations.
  • Basic ability to negotiate and apply tact and diplomacy with internal/external customers and foreign personnel.
  • Basic interpersonal / teaming skills
  • Basic ability to work independently and as a member of an integrated product team.
