Inventory Control Specialist (Finance)
Job Responsibilities
• Job is an individual contributor.
• Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports.
• Provide daily monitoring and reporting on warehouse supplies and customer material discrepancies to identify shortages and overages.
• Record inbounds and shipments at 3PLs to reconcile inventory.
• Provide direction to plants, 3rd party providers, shipping on proper lot allocation and date maintenance.
• Devise ways to optimize / present inventory control and procedures.
• Generate and maintain inventory reports for all 3PLs.
• Coordinates and collaborates with internal stakeholders (plant, customer service & transportation) in planning, development, analysis, and documentation of inventory needs.
• Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
• Manage QA and hold status at 3PLs with coordination from QA/Plant departments.
• This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
• 1-3 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
• Knowledge of supply chain functions and how to map a process for improvement.
• Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods (excel, power BI).
• Demonstrate / applied Lean skillset.
Education
• BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
Work Environment
• Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
• Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
• This role requires 10% domestic travel.
• Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds.
• Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
• Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
