Janitor - 2nd Shift (Maintenance)

About the Role:
As a Janitor at ClarkLindsey, youll play a vital role in maintaining a sanitary and pleasant environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. From cleaning and light maintenance to pool care and event setup, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional service every day.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and clean the swimming pool and water purification systemsPerform routine inspections and cleaning of resident and staff areasHandle minor repairs and report maintenance needsSet up and tear down for meetings and eventsConduct security checks and emergency equipment testingSupport residents in urgent situations when needed

What Were Looking For:
Enjoy working around people, especially older adultsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience with cleaning, sanitization, and following procedures according to a schedule requiredAbility to pass the NSPF Certified Pool Operator (CPO) test within 6 monthsStrong attention to detail; motivation to keep things neat and organizedAbility to work independently and respond calmly in emergenciesCommitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, bending, and reachingAbility to lift and move 1540 lbs occasionallyComfortable working in an environment with changing priorities, where potential exposure to chemicals and bodily fluids exists

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
