Senior Product Manager – Data Platform (Finance)

Data services are at the heart of EcoStruxure Platform of Schneider Electric. To accelerate further the Schneider Digital's platform approach in sync with the convergence initiatives of Schneider Lines of Businesses, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager. The goal is to define the strategic vision for Data services of the platform, drive their development and delivery in collaboration with Product Engineering team & architects while ensuring their fit with the needs of platform internal and external customers.

This role will work with stakeholders in all Lines of Business, technical product management team, product engineering team and Executives to build a comprehensive roadmap and deliver on it.

Responsibilities

The individual is responsible for the overall success of data services by working closely with cross-functional teams.

-Defining the product vision and strategy

-Partner with Lines of businesses to understand customer needs and define the growth strategy

-Conducting market research and gathering customer insights to inform product decisions

-Developing and managing the product roadmap

-Managing the entire product lifecycle, from idea to launch and post-launch analysis

-Communicating the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and cross-functional teams

-Collaborating with engineering and design teams to ensure the product is developed and delivered on-time and on-budget

-Coordinating with marketing and sales teams to ensure that the product is effectively positioned and promoted

-Analyzing product performance and making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance

-Managing the product budget and ensuring that the product is profitable.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Product Management, preferably in data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies related to data management.
  • Experience of digital-enabled cloud service model, software, IoT Products - SaaS, PaaS, and DaaS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to drive end-to-end product delivery leveraging global teams in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to define & adapt product strategy to a complex and evolving business environment.
  • Project management skills or experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Intrapreneurial or Entrepreneurial experience will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of one of the following is highly desired.
    • Power management
    • Building Management
    • Sustainability
    • Industrial Automation

Agile mindset and experience with Scrum or Kanban approach will be a plus
