Child and Family Intensive Programs Clinical Manager (Project Management)



Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is looking for a passionate and experienced Full-Time Child and Family Intensive Programs Clinical Manager to join our dedicated team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of our Family Preservation and High-Fidelity Wraparound Services, ensuring the highest standards of care for the individuals and families we serve. As Clinical Manager, you will coordinate and manage services to promote excellence in client care, guide a team of professionals, and ensure compliance with all DCS/Probation and DMHA requirements.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  1. Provide clinical supervision for master's levels therapists under the guidelines and service standards of external agreements.
  2. Screen client referrals to ensure appropriate services are being offered/provided as established in the Family Preservation Service Standards.
  3. Manage clinical staff and monitor the quality of services they provide through chart reviews, record management, and supervision meetings. Provide performance reviews.
  4. Screen, interview, and recommend applicants for hire. Provide a comprehensive orientation & onboarding to new staff members.
  5. Collaborate with Crisis Services to assure continuity of care during acute crisis through training, consultation, and standardized work process.
  6. Provide on-call backup for direct care staff outside the normal working hours.
  7. Ensure compliance with all Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. policies and procedures.
  8. Prepare written reports on delivery of services to include assessment of program goals and objectives as well as future goals and objectives.
  9. Manage emergency situations with clients and/or families.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide consultation and education activities to community and professional groups regarding services offered at Southwestern and other clinical issues if called upon to do so.
  2. Provide positive public relationships and maintain positive public awareness of mental health needs in the community, especially with other service providers, the courts and the educational community.
  3. Provide backup supervision to other services.
  4. Provide supervision and guidance to students assigned to the location.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related degree. Licensure required, LCSW/LMHC strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience serving Severely Emotionally Disturbed children and their families.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must obtain and maintain crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation training.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
