The P&L Leader - MRO & Aftermarket Services (Aerospace) is responsible for driving the overall financial, operational, and strategic performance of the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) and aftermarket services division. This role oversees profitability, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry regulations. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to optimize service delivery, expand market presence, and enhance customer value.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial & Business Leadership:

  • Full P&L ownership for the MRO and aftermarket services business unit
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans to increase revenue, market share, and profitability
  • Manage cost structures, optimize pricing strategies, and ensure EBITDA improvement
  • Analyze financial performance, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions to meet financial targets
  • Drive new business development, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships

Operations & Service Excellence:
  • Assist MRO facility operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time service delivery
  • Implement lean practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and other aerospace regulatory standards
  • Lead supply chain and inventory optimization to minimize downtime and improve turnaround times (TAT)
  • Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives to enhance MRO efficiency and customer experience

Customer & Market Development:
  • Strengthen customer relationships with airlines, OEMs, defense contractors, and other aerospace stakeholders
  • Identify emerging market trends and competitive intelligence to drive business positioning
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance the company's aftermarket value proposition
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and contract retention through superior service delivery

Leadership & Team Development:
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing MRO and aftermarket services team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence
  • Align cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain, sales) to achieve business goals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business, Aviation Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace MRO, aftermarket services, or aviation-related industries
  • Proven track record in P&L management, revenue growth, and operational leadership
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in cost control, budgeting, and profitability optimization
  • Deep knowledge of FAA, EASA, and aerospace industry regulations
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence in an MRO environment
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
