Job Description
The Director of Manufacturing Quality Systems is responsible for the strategy, delivery and ongoing support across the manufacturing quality systems. This role will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Quality organization as well as the plant GMs to ensure Quality Systems roadmap is closely aligned to support the strategic business initiatives, objectives and goals. In addition, the leader will be responsible for working closely with various stakeholders to outline the right applications to support the business initiatives and drive success.
The leader will be responsible for building the right team using onshore and offshore resources, managing day-to-day operations, working closely with cross-functional teams, driving governance, continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system usage, user experience and executing against roadmaps. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the budget and vendor management associated with the delivery of the Quality systems. Moreover, the incumbent will work closely with various stakeholders and colleagues across Medline to build and foster trust-based collaborative relationships to promote the alignment, communication, coordination, and successful implementation of Manufacturing Quality Systems.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy across the Quality Applications that support the business initiatives, objectives and goals. Collaborate with business leaders to create a roadmap and prioritize business needs across the Quality organization and plants, aligning support with overall business objectives. Oversee the implementation of new continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring smooth transition and user adoption.
Operational Management:
Manage a team of onshore/offshore analysts and architects, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Monitor and resolve complex Quality related issues escalated by the support team, including troubleshooting technical problems, data inconsistencies, and system errors. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for ongoing application support, ensuring consistency and quality across the organization. Implement strong governance with the business and IT team to ensure alignment and prioritization. Manage budgets, vendors and institute strong program management to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
Stakeholder Management:
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Quality organization and plant leadership to understand their specific requirements and proactively address their needs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding application updates, system changes, and potential impacts on business operations.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$175,760.00 - $263,640.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
