Recruiting Assistant (Finance)



osition Summary: The Recruiter Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the recruiting functions and other duties as requested to meet the needs of the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels.
  • Request background checks
  • Assist in recruitment efforts
  • Screen applicants via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Contact previous employers to verify employment via fax and phone.
  • Assist in posting jobs in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer calls
  • Protect the security of information, data and files
  • Assist field management in the hiring process
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Perform other related clerical duties as required and assigned
  • Perform customer service functions for internal and external customers
  • Make photocopies, fax documents and image documents to Perceptive

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment and / or human resources practices and principals preferred
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Able to operate under a fast paced environment
  • Social media recruiting a plus
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Confidentiality a must
  • Some HR knowledge a plus
  • Punctual
  • Effective Problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills
