📝 What You'll Be Doing:

  • Greet new residents and families and walk them through the admissions process
  • Help gather and complete all required admission paperwork
  • Maintain accurate bed availability records and room assignments
  • Notify nursing staff when new residents arrive so they're warmly welcomed
  • Provide admissions packets and review important information with residents/guardians
  • Coordinate transfers and discharges with a smile and attention to detail
  • Work closely with multiple departments to ensure a smooth and efficient process

🔍 Job Description Summary - Admissions Coordinator

The Admissions Coordinator facilitates a smooth and efficient resident intake process. Duties include interviewing residents and families, completing and organizing required paperwork and signatures, orienting residents, assigning rooms, and maintaining up-to-date bed availability records. This role coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges, collaborates with nursing and other departments, and ensures confidentiality and accuracy in all resident-related documentation.
