What's the role?

The Project Documentation Analyst is responsible for supporting product life cycle and operations in the area of documentation and records for the implementation and maintenance of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) required to support the business and to comply with applicable Quality Management Systems (QMS) and supporting the needs from external partners (contract manufacturers).

The Project Documentation Analyst responsible for supporting product life cycle and operations in the area of documentation and records for the implementation and maintenance of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) required to support the business and to comply with applicable Quality Management Systems (QMS) and support the needs from external partners (contract manufacturers). This individual ensures adherence to business standards and applicable regulations regarding document and record controls including file maintenance in various forms (databases, network files, electronic, hard copy, thumb drives, etc.).

Here's what you'll do:

  • Process and route internal and external change orders and deviations utilizing required databases including ensuring that the change documentation follows process for package completion, signatures and good documentation practices.
  • Maintain electronic files of documents submitted through the change order process
  • Facilitate approval process with prioritization of urgent changes
  • Assist end-users, as needed, to successfully use document and records systems
  • Provide reports on a frequent basis to ensure effective management of change order processes
  • Executes test scripts, writing test reports and other activities associated with keeping documentation systems compliant with validation / verification requirements and regulations.
  • Ensure SOPs, Work Instructions and guidance documents used by Specialists adequately reflect the work being performed and collaborate for updates to these documents as needed.
  • Complete a variety of administrative tasks such as assisting with access to change management system access; ordering standards/regulations and maintaining a standards and regulations library; maintaining a software library; records list; off-site storage list; report of department training status; updating the queue of work / status; support of audits and requested documentation; weekly report for changes to QMS documents.

Do you qualify?

  • A minimum of three (3) years in a position that uses Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Previous experience in production/manufacturing company
  • Medical device company experience is highly desired
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System and good documentation practices
  • A working knowledge of drawings or digital imaging, such as CAD, SolidWorks
  • Working knowledge of executing test scripts
  • Knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP, PLM such as Agile, and SharePoint, and electronic document change management system
  • Knowledge of materials change control in an ERP system including material BOMs
  • Must be able to recognize deviation from accepted practice and exercise judgement in resolving problems
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with personnel across the organization and in particular with technical personnel
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills

The hourly pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is eligible for a Performance Bonus.
