Customer Service Representative (Administrative)



What You Will Do

This entry-level role is dedicated to delivering best-in-class customer care to our U.S. and Canadian customer base. The position involves managing a high volume of inbound inquiries via phone and email from Clarios commercial accounts, OPTIMA® battery consumers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

  • Handle incoming communications from Clarios customers in the U.S. and Canada through both email and telephone channels.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and professional support, ensuring customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
  • Document interactions and maintain detailed records in the company's CRM systems.
  • Manage and resolve customer concerns related to warranty claims for Clarios products, including OPTIMA® batteries purchased through the website or authorized retailers such as Amazon.
  • Process and fulfill customer requests by ordering items, replacement parts, and packaging supplies in accordance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Understand customer core platform for store door customers to enter their own core requests, with the ability to train locations on the system.
  • Serve as a backup support arm to our NAPA Customer Service Representative.

How You Will Do It

  • Inquiries will be fielded via Ring Central telephony platform and via email through the Salesforce CSM

What We Look For

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in communications preferred.
  • Previous call center experience in a technical role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying information clearly and effectively.
  • The ability to attentively listen to customers, understand their concerns, and respond appropriately is crucial.
  • Basic computer skills for navigation, call center, and telephony software.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to handle pressure are critical.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, managers and leadership.
  • Ability to work in the greater Milwaukee area.
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. PLEASE NOTE that applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a customer service or call center environment is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong willingness to learn and a customer-focused mindset are preferred.
